You can now sort your designs into collections in your File Library. Name them however you like, give each one a color, and find the right design in seconds when you create products.
There's no limit to how many collections you can create, and a single design can be in as many collections as you need
Create a collection
- Go to File Library in the left menu.
- Click + New collection.
- Enter a name.
- Pick a color to make the collection easy to spot.
- Click Create.
Add designs to a collection
- In your File Library, click the three dots (⋮) next to a design.
- Click Add to collection...
- Choose the collection you want to add it to.
Want the same design in more than one collection? Just repeat the steps. The Collections column shows every collection a design belongs to.
To take a design out of a collection, open that collection's tab, click the three dots (⋮) next to the design, and select Remove from "[collection name]".
📌 Designs that aren't in any collection appear under Uncategorized.
Manage several designs at once
Need to sort a lot of designs? You can add or remove them in bulk.
- In your File Library, tick the checkbox next to each design you want to move. To select every design on the page, tick the checkbox at the top of the list.
- Use the bar at the bottom of the page:
- Add to collection adds all selected designs to a collection.
- Remove from collection takes all selected designs out of a collection.
📌 The same bar also lets you Download or Delete all selected designs.
Delete a collection
Deleting a collection never deletes your designs. You can manage a collection using the three dots (⋮) on its tab.
- If a design was only in that collection, it moves back to Uncategorized.
- If a design was also in other collections, it's only removed from the deleted one and stays in the rest.
Use collections when creating a product
- Open the Design generator for your product.
- Click Add layer.
- In the Design library window, click a collection tab to see the designs inside it.
- Select one or more designs.
- Click Add designs. Each design is added as its own layer.
📌 Need a new file? Click Upload design right in the Design library window. New uploads go to Uncategorized, so you can sort them into a collection later in your File Library.
Check print quality before you add a design
The Design library window also helps you pick files that will print well:
- The recommended size is shown in the top right. It's specific to the product you're designing.
-
A print quality badge is shown in the bottom right of each design:
- Print ready (green): the design matches/exceeds the recommended size.
- May look soft (orange): the design has a low DPI, so it may print less sharp.
- Low resolution (red): the design is smaller than the recommended size.
⚠️ For the sharpest result, use designs marked Print ready. If a design shows as May look soft or Low resolution, upload a higher-quality version of the file.
Pro Tip: Group your designs by store, theme, season, or product type, so building a new product only takes a few clicks.
