How to Add Express Shipping to Your Shopify Integration

You can offer Express delivery to your Shopify customers by adding it directly through your Shopify shipping settings. Here's how:
 

📌 Installed Podbase after May 5, 2026? The Express Delivery option will already appear in your shipping profile automatically, no setup needed!

Steps

1. Go to your Shopify Admin and navigate to Settings → Shipping and delivery.
2. Under your shipping profiles, find and open Podbase: Print on Demand.

3. Click Add rate to create a new shipping option.
4. Name it exactly: Express Delivery

5. Save the rate, that's it! Podbase will automatically detect it and process those orders as Express.

⚠️ For Express shipments, a phone number is mandatory. Make sure your Shopify checkout collects customers’ phone numbers. Orders without the number will be rejected. 

⚠️ The name must be entered exactly as shown. Podbase reads the shipping rate name to determine the fulfillment option. If anything other than Express Delivery is entered (e.g. "express delivery", "Express", or "Fast Shipping"), the order will automatically be processed as Economy.

📌 Tip: Express shipping is more expensive than Economy. Make sure to update your pricing for this shipping option in Shopify so your customers are charged accordingly.
