Is there a difference in quality between 150 and 300 DPI?

To see if there's a noticeable difference between 150 and 300 DPI, consider the printing method and how big your final piece will be displayed.

For items like phone cases, earphone cases, tablet cases, and mugs: Our templates can support up to 300 DPI. While 150 DPI is acceptable, the smaller the details, the higher the resolution should be. Mugs are often viewed up close, so it's important to use high-quality files.

For posters: The minimum accepted DPI for paper products is 81, but we strongly recommend using 300 DPI to ensure the best quality.

Keep in mind that our Design Maker is set to 150 DPI. We chose this because not everyone is an expert and some might just want to print an image without worrying about changing the resolution.
