VAT stands for Value-Added Tax. It’s charged at each stage of the supply chain, like production and sales, for goods and services. VAT applies to all orders shipped to customers, but you can reclaim your VAT payments since it’s considered an expense for the end user. To do this, you'll need to register for a VAT number in your country. It's a good idea to talk to your accountant or get legal advice, as VAT rules vary across different regions in Europe.

Just so you know, VAT only applies in Europe. If you’re selling to other regions, VAT won’t apply, but there might be import or duty taxes instead.
