Common Podbase Errors & How to Fix Them
While working with Podbase, you may occasionally encounter errors that are not clearly defined. To help you troubleshoot efficiently, we’ve compiled solutions to the most common issues in one place.
Failed to Connect Shopify/Etsy and Podbase
What’s the issue?
Each Podbase store only supports one integration—either Shopify or Etsy. Trying to connect both will trigger a connection failure.
Solution:
If you want to use both platforms, create a separate Podbase store for each. You can follow this guide to set up a new Podbase store.
Integration Does Not Connect and Redirects You Back to “Store Settings”
What’s the issue?
You may be attempting to link a Shopify or Etsy store that’s already connected to a different Podbase account.
Solution:
1. Log in to the Podbase account where the integration already exists.
2. Go to the Integrations tab.
3. Remove the existing Shopify or Etsy connection.
4. Return to your desired Podbase store and reconnect.
“Aww snap, something went wrong while processing your request!” When Deleting a Product
What’s the issue?
This is a display bug, not a real problem. The product does get deleted, but the error may still pop up.
Solution:
Simply refresh the page after deleting the product to see the change.
“Aww snap, something went wrong while processing your request!” When Uploading a Design Image
What’s the issue?
This error usually means the image you uploaded is too low in resolution for the product you're designing.
Solution:
Check the recommended image specs listed on the right side of the design tool. Upload a new file that meets or exceeds those specifications.
“Aww snap, something went wrong while processing your request!” When Adding a VAT ID
What’s the issue?
You may have entered an invalid VAT ID, or your company’s VAT registration may be too new.
Solution:
- Double-check the country code (e.g., LT, PT, IT) is included at the beginning of the VAT ID.
- Make sure your VAT registration is at least 2 days old before trying again.
